Windows 10 has a release date, apparently.
Microsoft hasn’t said when Windows 10 will launch, but AMD CEO Lisa Su made reference to the new OS in a recent earnings call.

“With the Windows 10 launch at the end of July, we are watching sort of the impact of that on the back-to-school season,” she said in answer to an investor’s questions, as transcribed by Releases.com.
As one of the major PC manufacturers AMD is, of course, in a position to know. So there you go: probably at the end of July, which certainly lines up with the summer window Microsoft gave us.

Windows 10 sounds like it’s going to be pretty interesting, and not just because Microsoft skipped Windows 9 entirely. It will stream Xbox One exclusives, for one thing, and supports both cross-play and cross-buy between Xbox and PC. There will be universal apps that work across PC, Xbox and Windows Phone, too.

You won’t need Xbox Live to play games developed for this new hybrid ecosystem, thankfully, and in fact you can even score a free copy of Windows 10 if you’ve pirated a previous version of the operating system.

Finally, it has a Cortana digital assistant and replaces Internet Explorer with a new browser called Project Sparta

Wow, that sounds really cool. It's about time they really made something innovative haha. I would love to see how it turns out. I hope they really took their time in making it a great thing. Hope they're launch isn't a disaster like battlefield 4
