Hello
I have been using laptops for gaming, (extremely expensive ones from Dell (alienware), ASUS, etc)
Now I'm using a 1 year old CYBERPOWER custom laptop and the hardware cant run 100% as the heating dissipation isnt what it can be when using a normal desktop tower.

I've decided to build my own desktop as that requires less money than buying it out-right from a vendor.
Can someone direct me to a detailed walkthrough to building one?

More specific, I'm not sure what the various motherboards mean, what power supply I need, which CPU to choose (older i5 with higher freq or newer with lower freq), water cooling compatibility with cases etc)
So I need a very detailed guide for noobs like me.
Anyone has any tips?:) thx

I did this very thing last year and it cost me about $1600 in total for my Rig. Maxed the ram, 4TB HDD's (x4) Core i7 (4790k, best at that time) and a GTX 1080 (upgrade from the GTX 970 I added a year ago). As Winter mentioned, let us know your budget and we'll see what we can do to help. :D
