Mirror’s Edge Catalyst, the not sequel to 2008’s parkour spectacular Mirror’s Edge, is due out in May. Today, EA and DICE announced closed beta registration for the upcoming first-person adventure is now live and marked the news with a new story trailer.

If you fancy reuniting with ultra-limber protagonist Faith Connors before May, you can sign up for the chance to be part of the Mirror’s Edge Catalyst closed beta via the game’s website now.
Details are thin on the ground at the moment - we don’t know when it’ll kick off, how many players it'll involve, or what it’ll entail - but this new story trailer provides a little more insight into what Faith and co. will be getting up to:

Once upon a time, Catalyst was set for a February 23 release however it was put back with DICE’s senior producer Sara Jansson saying: "We will use these few extra months to make sure that when you step into the massive City of Glass and experience the rise of Faith, it’s as entertaining, impressive, and memorable as it can be."

Mirror’s Edge Catalyst is due for release on May 24, 2016.
