Hi,

hopefully this is the right subforum ^^

I noticed, since I updated my Kaspersky to the 2017 version, some of your trainers are recognized as Trojans and therefore can't be activated anymore with an running Kaspersky.

I know, normally you say, that you can't build your trainers to make sure they fit every single Anti Virus Program, but I thought Kaspersky is the biggest fish in the pond so to say and that should maybe give some consideration, if it isn't a problem worth solving.

Trainers, that are not working anymore include: Supreme Ruler Ultimate V. 9.0.71 ; The Guild Renaissance 4.7.1. and others as well. Can't remember them right now.

Maybe you can have a look at it, there has to be a reason why I never had a problem when using them before, but now Kaspersky is always complaining.

Would be awesome to get your opinion on that :)

Indeed this is a common issue since the Kaspersky 2017 was released. If you think that Kaspersky have got it wrong you can upload and scan the file here https://scan.kaspersky.com/ . If you disagree with the scan result you click "I disagree with scan results" and then Kaspersky will have a look at the files and should reply within 5-7 days.

After I downloaded a MAF Civ 6 trainer I scanned the file and it seemed clean but the moment I opened my AV alarm went off and started advanced disinfection.

I think Kaspersky might updated the database for the trainer if you upload the files to their site but this does also fall on MAF to sort out his software and contact KSN Labs and ask them to verify all future MAF trainers.

Truthfully, the result that would cause the least headache is to create a directory specifically for MAF trainers, then tell Kaspersky to exclude that directory. It seems to have worked wonders for me with this issue with Kaspersky Total Security, so it SHOULD work for you as well.
