you have to open the game editor (left side under the picture) there, you can set the value of your money and also the skill points for the selected hero/general

trainer doesn't work for me anymore. can't activate it with F1

do you mean after pressing F1? you have to wait 20-30 seconds till it activates (at least in my case) don't do anything else with the trainer in this time, because it freezes then and of course run the game first and the trainer afterwards (as administrator)
