What I do is run the game and go to a race and then disconnect the internet. Once that is done I alt tab and load the trainer and start the race, as the race is starting activate the trainer option and disable it just before the finish line. Trainer I am using is V1.295.960.2 and the game...

Trainer still works fine for me. If you are having problems maybe try loading the trainer and activating the options after you have gone into the Gungeon. This is what I do and have no problems.

Enter the Gungeon V2.1.3 Trainer +6 works perfectly fine.

Inf. health, keys, money and no reload still work on the current trainer. (Enter the Gungeon V2.0.6 Trainer +6) Inf. blanks and ammo do not work. (After the release of the latest and last update V2.1.3)

Current trainer Enter the Gungeon V2.0.6 Trainer +6 works fine for me with all options but the final update for this game should be coming on April 5th.
