Yah, dont use Special attacks when you´re using: Noire, Dangekiko (that lily rank attack), etc.
The following characters wont make your game crash in spite of using the special attacks:
Neptune, Nepgear, Vert, both journalists.
I don´t know if the others would "make" game crash again. (Rom, ram normal and in HDD mode, Uni)

No you don't. You can unlock "easy rip" and "hard" costumes, as well as "already torn" ones. The first break pretty much instantly, the second can't be broken, and the last ones... just read. Shouldn't need an explanation.

I think the update has disabled the trainer.

Just checked it too and yes, after the little update, the trainer doesn't work anymore. No "cheat/trainer activated" for me.
