downloaded newest trainer for mordhiem city of dammed and antivirus kicks in and deletes it.

I added the file and the folder to my exception list but it still auto deletes it.
Tried running program with antivirus off and it worked just fine.

Any help with this would be appreciated.

Change your antivirus

I recommend ESET, unlike everyone complaining about such issues here i never had any with it.

AVG is normally ok with trainers but it wasn't having any of it with the Injustice trainer. So I don't know where the issue really lies, AVG is very reliable and this trainer hasn't been updated in 4 years.

I had the same problem a couple of weeks ago with a different trainer. Turned out it wasn't AVG that was doing it, it was Windows 10. I saw a post by MAF the other day that had some batch files in it for turning off Windows Defender temporarily, but I can't seem to find it now. If I do find it, I'll come back and edit this post. But that's what you need to do, disable defender for a bit, then do it. Windows 10 sucks.

That link is at the top of this page, what threw me off was the fact that it was AVG popping up. Honestly I turned off Windows Defender ages ago it seems to have updated and turned itself back on and removed the function to just toggle it off. Sneaky fookin prawns.

Edit: It didnt work. Defender was disabled using the provided files but AVG still removed the trainer for being infected with Win32:Malware-gen.
