first, launch the game
then, launch the trainer
----
from inside the game:
press [F1] key to activate the trainer
then press any other the other F# keys F2-F12 for whatever cheats you would like to use

Also, there is a video of how to use the trainer on the first page if you would like a visual guide.

Does this work with the new Enderal mod? The reason I am asking is that Enderal changes SO much about the game.

Found the answer out myself: Yes, so far it is working with the mod Enderal.

The unlimited Health (F2) gives you unlimited health, stamina and magicka. F7 - infinite gold does not work. F12 tends to crash the game even if you don't use shout. F8 doesn't work either and the game crashed shortly after I used it. I ended up giving myself infinite weight with the ~ and the modav command.
If you use unlimited health and get hit for more than your max health, you will die. This is from ANY damage.

If you don't want to wait for the trainer to be updated, press the tilde [next to 1] or apostrophe [next to #] keys (depends on region) and type TGM - this toggles god mode giving you infinite health, stamina and magic, then player.additem f x - this will give you x amount of gold

Use console commands instead of trainer for skyrim, much much easier to use.

I tried using player.additem (item code) [amount] and it didn't work for any item I tried it with. It kept giving me errors. I don't really want to add items in my game though, so I guess I'm not out anything! =D
