You don't need to specify it, since you use retail in a way it means you using an emulator to open and not mention as well EAC is bypassed so just use current trainer.

Current trainer "V1.017.189.2B" still works fine, the game hasn't been updated since 6 months ago so i suggest to follow instruction on first page especially with adding parameter EAC.

Thank you for the reply it was my mistake for not reading the instructions i kinda went over them since most of the other trainers i use have simpler instructions. anyway happy new year folks.

Try Watch Dogs 2 V1.017.189.2 Trainer +7.....Mega Followers don't work though.

The cheats do work, i just confirmed this. The issue is most likely that you have not disable Easy anti cheat, see how to below
Universal (any platform):
-navigate to [Install Directory]\WATCH_DOGS2\bin
-create a shorcut for WatchDogs2.exe
-open up the shortcuts properties
-add -eac_launcher to the end of the 'target' line
-target line should read "[Install Directory]\WATCH_DOGS2\bin\WatchDogs2.exe" -eac_launcher
-launch through that shortcut

[Note: this worked for me but i cant be sure it will for everyone]
