If you're not a donor then you have literally no grounds to complain how WeMod is "out for themselves" or greedy or anything for that matter. To demand an update while at the same time bashing WeMod when you can't even support Mr.AntiFun with a few dollars makes you sound like a disgusting hypocrite.

To Mr.AntiFun, You're the man. You still stand as the single best trainer developer on the net and I fully support your choice to hop on WeMod. It is a great platform and i'm sure it is saving you a bunch of money. I know how busy you are, don't worry about the jerks on here. You will get to the update when you get to it. Have a great weekend and as always, thank you for your tireless work!

Actually they locked the thread because one of the staff members made a comment they shouldn't have and ended up editing their post and apologizing to the person they insulted. As for making excuses for them, the issue is that there system for sharing information is TERRIBLE. They link a post that says that if the "request update" is gone that it can be one of two things... it can be that an update has been triggered and it's now in a queue (one we can't see or have any indications of), or it can be that WeMod isn't detecting the new patch in that game. So many of us went to the forums to post because their was no "request update" button, read the post, and assumed based on the fact that we never got to "vote" to request an update that there might be an issue. What we got was carbon copy posts from their staff, and not a single one could just say, "Hey guys this trainer update is in the queue" instead they got an attitude, continued to post the carbon copy message and not give a simple answer.

As a business that asks us to donate and support them, it seems to be fairly simple that they can at the very least not take an attitude when dealing with the user base, and with a very small amount of effort let us know something is actually being worked on (which would have stopped the influx of messages caused by their ambiguous answers). No one asked them to give us an exact time, just that it was being worked on and that it wasn't an issue with WeMod detection (which honestly has lots of issues).

Don't let me stop you from white knighting against the invisible enemy but.. as a donor to WeMod I feel I can criticize them on bad behavior. No where in my posts have I once mentioned demanding an update, the only thing anyone ever mentioned was a move to have a little transparency if something was being worked on. No one asked for a date for completion. EVERY single person has praised MAF as being an awesome coder and provider of content. Calling out WeMod for poor communication, bad behavior, and poor choices isn't about MAF it's about them; and since the thread for this specific matching content on their forums is locked we had to post and discuss here.

My advice to you is in the future before putting on that shiny white armor, mounting your majestic steed and riding into battle... you might want to make sure you at least take the time to read and comprehend the basics of the discussion.

Thanks to everyone who has been discussing and contributing to the discourse. Hope everyone has a great weekend and of course thank you MAF its been a great four years in the community and here is to many more!

You can smell a Reddit user from a mile off Lmfao. "hurr white knight hurr". I'll pick being accused of being a white knight simply because i'm patient and don't know a thing about the complexity of running a service like WeMod over using the smug, arrogant, high road, superiority, edgy meme lord, entitled, and internet "this is the most important thing in my life" rage, tone that your post is thickly coated in any day of the week. I want to say that there are bigger things in the world to get upset about. However I don't doubt that this is in the top 3 most important things in your life. Have a wonderful weekend, I hope your internet rage gives you all the comfort you need in these trying times.

Don't have a reddit account, but I see I hit a nerve when discussing your inability to actually read and provide additional insights. Sorry for adding some humor which clearly hit home. If anything you can smell a lonely keyboard warrior who has to get on a forum to defend a company who no one can dispute in the situation was in the wrong because THEY admitted being wrong.

Not mad, not raged up, honestly enjoying the weather on the outdoor patio of my businesses building... just wasn't going to let you get away with not comprehending the discussion and then come in and white knight against a totally unrelated discussion. As for the "important things", having a discussion is part of life. Forums exist for discussion not just praise. MAF is awesome as can be, WeMod isn't and we can all speak our voices to it. If you don't like it don't read it.

I will include you in the "Thanks to everyone who has been discussing and contributing to the discourse. Hope everyone has a great weekend and of course thank you MAF its been a great four years in the community and here is to many more!" If you want to discuss this further you are welcome to DM me and I will get back to you when I can, I won't be continuing to clog up the forum with our back and forth. :)

Oh, I wasn't aware of all this! Thanks for letting me know and the in depth answer!

One question though: The wemod application did show for me that the trainer was not up-to-date and wouldn't that indicate then (request update button gone) that it was about to be updated/in development? I mean - yeah; I think I might be a bit naive and going into this with (too much) good faith?

Cheers!
