Capslock is not your friend. All I'm getting is the windows error sound as well. Tried launching it before game (clearly failed), at main menu (I read the instructions, so it obviously failed) and in a new game after turn one and a saved game 1 turn after the save point, and all windows error...

The trainer does need an update, but shop works up until the point you get an offer to join the black market. Whether you say yes or no doesn't matter, the shop option will then no longer work.

The Shop Cheat works up until you get an offer to join the black market. Even if you decline the offer, the cheat still stops working.

Actually, you cab't use the small jump jets. You would need Jumpjets (A) not Jumpjets (S) (A = Assault, H Heavy, S Meduim and Small I think)
