I found that if you use Cheat Engine you can pick 3-4 of the Hot Key topics and that they will work, even if F1 doesn't. I think F2 - F8 activated, but sometimes health and stamina and hunger and thirst ran down to 0 I could still go without changing them. Made it interesting! When you search...

zero: F8 and F9 activate last for me, and only after I've started to build something that takes a couple of sticks, etc. One Hit Kill needs use of a Molotov, or fire arrow, or a mutant nearby plus a few seconds (up to 30s??).
