A month or two back, a Dead or Alive developer warned modders to tweak their new game in “good moral and manner”. But it’s not nude mods players will be concerned with today - rather fixes for some of the basic features that have turned up on PC a month late in sorry state or not at all.

You’ll find Dead or Alive 5: Last Round on Steam. What you won’t find is online multiplayer - expected to arrive as a patch “within three months”. In recognition of that disappointment, publisher Koei Tecmo have announced that the game will be 10% off until the update appears.

But there are other issues, like the graphics effects listed as “equivalent to the PS3 version” - unlike the shadows, which are comparable to those on the PS4. And two stages, Crimson and the Danger Zone, which haven’t shown up.

There’s no key customisation support, and the Soft Engine used to soften the appearance of character skin looks to be absent too.

Steam Achievements are a non-starter - though there is support for anti-aliasing and resolutions up to 4K if that helps.
