I think the trainer might require an update because it crashes immediately after using a cheat.

Is it any cheat or a certain cheat ? .

Try to activate all required cheats in main menu of the game before continuing a save or starting a new game .

I was in the main menu and i tried inf health and closed the game, relaunched and tried inf skill points and the same problem occured. no error messages either.

Yes, sadly, most likely something on my side but i'll let you know if anything changes

I believe it is the infinite health option that may be crashing the game. when I was fighting the jaguars at the beginning every time they would lunge at me with infinite health on the game would crash with no errors.

Definitely still infinite health. Crashes as soon as anyone sees you and starts to attack.
