Look at the lvl of his char (20) most likely the color changes with a wing upgrade between lvl 1 and 20.

The purple wings is part of a dlc pack when you pre ordered the game. To activate them you have to go to your hub, and look in arcane option

Run the game, load your save then open the trainer under "Run as admin" option

Best way to make money is just get the Greed guns with the perk that makes anyone you kill drop wages then commence the murder spree.
