That happened mostly because in those games to actually Open the console u had to edit some ini files and insert bAllowConsole=1 and most likely Steam recognized files were edited and disabled achievs.

Np also another command that is used in previous Fallout titles is the perks command: player.addperk [perk ID] (where id is the hexa code u find with help "perk name" 4 Ex. help toughness 4 (the id for the respective perk is under the bracket [PERK] so you get something like this...

Guys, dont u know by now that almost all games by bethesda share the same cheats commands? using console ( ~ < tilde key ) and input the commands is so easy: tgm (god mode)= gives infinite AP HP, AMMO, all the first 5 options in the trainer already :) help player (1 2 3 or 4 ) = gives info...

Confirmed, does not work on GOG version (people who use codex that is based on steam should work) which is a shame cuz gog is the only version that has zero DRM.
