Mine wasn't working, did a clean boot and it suddenly worked.

Just use the game editor function to set your money to something ridiculously high

God mode worked the first battle, but then didn't work on the second battle of the turn, same armies. Playing as Circenn, fighting the start of campaign rebels. Also tried Gwined, did not work first battle.
