No, no, the editor is in the game itself and is a function of the game, it has nothing to do with the trainer. The game itself comes with an editor to create mods/mod saves etc.

You don't need the trainer to edit skills, all you need to do is launch the game's toolkit, use the Open Any... dialog to navigate to your save file, go into the platoons folder and find the name of your squad(s) from there. Your first squad will always be named Nameless in the files afaik...

Can confirm that the hotfix released today (App ver. 1.01.1, Reg 1.02) breaks the Trainer. I get a standard windows warning chime when trying to activate trainer while in game and activation fails. As mentioned above, game was just updated so we will need to wait for a trainer update to boot...
