Does the Game crash by any cheat? The only time i get an crash to desktop is by using the Unlimited Ammo Cheat after getting the Laserkraftwerk. This happens with both trainers and on the original and the not so retail game. Since i cannot throw away the weapon i simply don´t use this option now.

When you open the trainer tab in WeMod you have this litle arrow beside the Play Button, after clicking it, you can add a custom installation. After adding your custom installation directory the trainer should work.
