That's weird, I'm playing right now with the trainer and everything's working.

I've got the same problem as a bunch of others. The game works fine (mostly) in the campaign map, trainer is working, but when I start a battle, the game crashes to desktop with no error message.

What are you talking about? The latest version is 1.3

Is there going to be an update for this?

Honestly, with the changes made in patch 17, you'll never have to worry about food ever again.
