Trainers can be buggy at times, that's part of the risk of using them. Game devs are always trying to find ways to prevent trainers from working and the people making the trainers have to work around that. Next time you try a trainer from anywhere, back up your saves.

Any chance to get XP on the trainer if the trainer gets another update?

Went to MrAntiFun because he usually has the best Trainers. Seems this game is no longer supported by him. God mode effects you and the enemy, making it pointless. Infi Ki, stamina, and time seem to work...and that's it...I hope he'll update the trainer, but I highly doubt it.
