Add on: Ok I've found a way to activate the trainer; I have to shrink the game to get it to work - so probably my computer's issue. However when I have the trainer active research is done quickly and I don't put it on.

when I have the game running and press F1 to activate the trainer, the trainer stops responding and does nothing. I sit there for like 5 mins and it just doesn't respond
