It's ridiculous how the developers intentionally implemented mugging just so you can't amass money. If this is the case, then really they should not have the Equipment store unlocked until you can earn enough money in one go to purchase things there.

You don't need to do anything. Someone made a simple exe file where you load the save and it does everything for you automatically.
