you can still launch it through steam, you just add its exe to the "add non steam game" section.

With Malwarebytes, you have to set it to ignore the trainer's exe.
Its probably the same deal with other anti viruses. Do not just disable the anti virus.
He's not going to update if the trainer isn't broken from the Bioware update. Which it isn't. All functions work.
Trainers are Trojans but not the kind that are bad. They are designed to act like the .exe of the game, so the game acts like nothing is wrong.
So anti-virus programs will yell at them. Just add the trainer .exe into your exceptions list in whatever anti-virus you use.
Just went there and checked. You can get the game (not downloadable) But the DLC is no longer there. And from the reviews it doesn't even require Steam.
