Trainers sometimes activate and sometimes don't

So I've been having this weird problem with trainers, sometimes when I press F1 to activate a trainer my computer gives me a ping sound as if it doesn't work and sometimes the trainer just activate and work perfectly. Not sure what the problem is. Need some help here.

I think I have the same problem. No problem running the trainer at all and most of the options work but for some reason f1 & f3 keys refuse to cooperate. F1 opens up chrome help no matter what and f3 open up the search in page text box in chrome.

I cant find a way of overiding these

Any ideas.
