I am using the GoG version of the game, and I do not know if it's to do with the trainer, my PC or my OS, but all seems fine for about 3 mins and the screen locks up and stays at that frame, when I enter the menu and move the mouse around I get a long trail of mouse cursors that never disappear...

I can confirm the health issue, I left town before leveling up and my party was wiped out instantly when ambushed, I used the trainer to level up quite a few times and have not had this issue since. (Steam Version)

The game received an update this morning. I will test it later on and post my findings on need/not need for updated trainer. Lets hope the new trainer weathered this update storm.
