I have always had a work around for that. Just put the newly changed item into your Item Box on the bonfire. Then save and relog. When you get back on it will be the proper item and it will stay forever.
So I state the facts to you about why trainers are detected as viruses and you reaction is to ignore me. Then someone comes along and says one thing and you reply to them?
