    I've just tested here and nope, Inf. Credit option won't give me Inf. Remnant Decryption Keys, it says I have 999999 credits but Zero keys.

    as long as you use in single-player mode only, there's no risk.

    I'm on a save (PROPER-RELOADED release) with 100+ turns and not crashes so far. But I only used Inf. Money and Fast Research options. Maybe the crashes occur using one of the remaining options.
