Not to fret. Scene-Releases (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warez_scene) have to follow strict rules re: functionality and security and such (can be torrented as well, though the groups don't really like that) They also tend to make cracks for all updates and DLC that are functionally the same...

depends on the game, some have very different versions depending on the source (like steam, origin, uplay, MS store, etc.) (the "retail" versions should easily work with the appropriate trainer version number)
