Also, make sure your anti-malware isn't interfering with the trainer. I suspect the trainer DOES need an update, though, as I'm losing hit points even when following directions.

It's entirely possible that your antivirus false positived the trainer and removed it from the archive automatically. Try creating an empty folder, exclude it from your antivirus scanning, and downloading the trainer into that folder. Then see what happens.

Depending on your antivirus and its settings, it may have automatically "cleaned" the archive and deleted the trainer from it without telling you. McAfee has done to me, before I got irritated and bought Kaspersky Internet Security and replaced it. If your antivirus allows for it, your best bet...

I'm sorry to report that the trainer being active causes the game to crash when you access the crew manifest and clicking on a crew member.

Odd you are having trouble with the links. What browser are you using? As to the malware alerts, you DO realize that most antimalware treats trainers as generic malware, right, since they alter game code?

To be honest, not sure what to tell you. I'm using the same game version you are, and trainers work just fine for me. Sorry man.

Are you playing the game with the DLC, or without?

I don't know that it does, for sure, but most Steam games have some sort of VAC, especially if they have a multiplayer component, I expect.

You aren't supposed to be using trainers with multiplayer, man. MAF doesn't support multiplayer with his trainers, and especially says so. In any case, it's a sure way to risk a VAC ban if the software detects you attempting to cheat on a multiplayer game.

Your antivirus may have auto-deleted it as a false positive. Create a directory for MAF trainer and exclude it from scan by your antivirus app, then download it there. See what happens then.

I have tested both trainers, and they appear to enable and work fine with the most recent BT version of the game I have, 257. Switching to standard rules from Rise and Fall also allows me to run the non-DLC trainer, as does playing the Tutorial. Has there been any hotfixes or patches since then...
