I'm getting the same issue with the trainer not activating after typing in the password like some users.

Update: I got it to work I thought I could activate from the main menu but I discovered that I had to be in-game to activate the trainer.

I also discovered that the trainer won't activate if you modify the game. I used command prompt to modify the GOTY v 1.1 so it would skip the launcher and load up the game and I also added some files to play as the Joker in challenge mode which was exclusive to the Mac version but was playable if you added the files. Which by modifying the game like that interfered with the trainer.
