Can't get any trainers to work in Windows 10

I have tried multiple trainers in games like Dark Souls 2, Dying Light and GTA V but for some reason none of the trainers options activate, I get a Windows 10 notification sound and the trainer doesn't seem to toggle. The trainers did work in Windows 7 but absolutely none work now, I have tried checking the internet for multiple reasons outside of the trainer itself but nothing helped in my case. Was hoping the people here could help me figure out my problem.

right click onto the trainer->properties->compatibility->windows 7 save the settings and run the trainer worked for me

I got the GTA V trainer to work but it seems like the Dying Light one is still trying its best not to work. I'll try to update if anything good/bad happens

I tried the Dying Light trainers, one trainer worked while another didn't. Seems like it's a problem with the trainers themselves.

Right click on trainer and select run as admin from the menu.
It helps if the game version and trainer version match ,(this isn't a must as some trainers still work after games are updated,MAF trainers are that good) I have no probs at all in win10 64 bit , with any of MAF trainers, hope this helps.

tried both, didn't work. running HITMAN 2016 v. 1.00 and the trainer version 1.00 its the same as izzatuw the sound plays but the cheat doesn't activate. changed the compatibility mode to windows 7 as well. still nothing
