None of the old ones, neither 1.0 or 1.02.0 work.

please consider taking a look at Dark Souls Prepare to Die Edition. on steam version is dsptde -2.0- it's a beta patch that's going to be live in February i believe but most of us needed it now in order to play being that it was a horrible rushed PC port by From Software. and last but not least if anyone who has Dark Souls Prepare to Die Edition. and can't get it running even with the patch above. you must have a monitor that windows recognizes and allows you to set the refresh rate to 60Hz. after i did the patch and switched monitors i was finally able to play .... (sorry for a double post i really wanted to include a more thorough posting on this game. )
