Money works - the others don't/only partially (Health refills once - but does not freeze nor refill again after dis-/re-enabling).

to use the money, you activate it, and then go in to a market, and the money will show up (when you try to buy something) - not before.

it's possible you see the HP work when you go in to a new situation.
