I tried the trainer which i downloaded years ago from this site moments ago and it still works for me. I believe the recruitment one never worked anyway, but everything else was fine. I could research items that required 20 turns in 1 turn. Movement was fine and so was building buildings. I bought the physical copy which needed steam, so i'm not sure why your one doesn't work. That being said, with this wemod thing, i wouldn't be surprised if it affects trainers in a bad way. I can't get my homeworld remastered trainer to work despite it saying "game on" when playing it.

I'm gutted, any update on this?

Only a few months ago I was playing this with the WeMod version and it worked great. Now unfortunately, only the movement seems to work. I use to be able to build ships and soldiers in one turn but no longer.

I have noticed that the trainer is different, before I had to set the amount of money manually, now there is no option, it's just unlimited.

Is there anyway I can revert back to that version?

My mrantifun trainer still works for Empire. I've had it since 2014 and last used it a few months back during the UK lockdown period
