I was wondering if it was possible to have a trainer which you could select the amount of money required instead of infinity, just for when I want a small boost?

Actually, there is a cheat available from FS-UK mod website that allows you to add 1,000,000 or take it back. Very easy to download and add to the Mods folder for FS 2015

Bro, number one, you can go to your documents/My Games/FarmingSimulator15/savegame(savegame numbercode), and open careersavegame, find value Money and edit it by yourself (game has to be shutted down to get it working), and if you put too many digits it will be infinite money automatically, number two, use cheat engine for everything else, like speedhack, or value editing! this cheat app is just a piece of garbage!

Will this work with the Steam version of FS 15?

yes, cuz only difference in the steam game is the steam account tester (its just for caughting cheaters and people, who is trying to get the game without paying), so basically its just copy pasted copy of the cd version of the game.
