To be more efficient in reading posts by MrAntiFun is important for all of us. I think it is more important if MAF has more time for creating/updating trainers, than to read thousands of posts every day with very similar contents.

The user replies are very similar, like: "Thank you!" or "Please update trainer". To easily overview the replies, I suggest to make a "flag" system, with which the user can signal one bit of information: "Thank you!" or "Please update trainer".

With this system you view the game threads like this:

Game name 1 - 34 "Thank you!", 28 "Please update trainer"
Game name 2 - 3 "Thank you!", 81 "Please update trainer"
Game name 3 - 57 "Thank you!", 1 "Please update trainer"
...

With one look you can see that "Game name 2" needs an urgent update, "Game name 3" seems to be OK, and "Game name 1" may need an update later.

Can be similar flag for "[REQ] Game trainer" with the meaning: "I need it too". So, there would be only one (1) message in "[REQ] Game trainer" thread, and after a number of users, who also request the same.

When a trainer is updated, it can be also "signalled" to the users, and the above numbers should be zeroed.
For the users who watch some game threads, it is disppointing to read another one "Please update trainer" message, instead of "Trainer updated!".

not a bad idea, but i guess in essence that's what the chat is for!

Granted and valid. But for those who either can not or will not donate the chat is not available. I think the OP's idea has merit; however with perhaps a slight edit.

I think flags for expressing gratitude invalidates the gratitude of the person. That shouldn't be reduced in such a manor; however having a flag system when a trainer needs an update is a very good idea. The more flags a topic receives the more MAF can gauge the interest and try to prioritize and it lets him cut out the need to review "plz update..." etc. messages in their hundreds. The only way this would work though is if MAF had a quick and easy way to reset this flag count once he had made an update otherwise he'd not be able to differentiate between current and valid update request flags and previous ones.

All in all I think there is merit to the idea. Another massive plus point is when someone notices a technical fault it can often be drowned out by "update needed" posts; the sad result there is the tech issue goes unnoticed by MAF and remains in the next version. These flags would remove the need to ever type "update needed" in a thread again.
