the version for steam doesn't work for credits either. it either crashes the game, of if you disable it, it says you don't have enough money to buy a more expensive car.

For the steam version of the game, there is a trainer but it doesn't work. After enabling the trainer, selecting the option: Enable Credits Cheat and setting the number of credits in the option: Set Credits, then in the showroom with cars after disable option: Enable Credits Cheat from the trainer, when you try to buy the selected car, the following message appears: You have insufficient credits to buy this car.
It would be best to add to the trainer a working option: Unlimited Credits
At the moment, the trainer for steam version is not working

I see many of you have question about the credit cheat. I'm playing steam version, actually it is working well for me.
First start the game and go to pause menu, start wemod then press the "play" button.
Then press F1 to enable the cheat.
Stay on the wemod trainer, press F2 to get as much credit as you can (maximum is 100mil).
Go back to game, now you should see the credit been changed.
Fast travel back to your safe house, pick a car to do an upgrade.
Done upgrade your car and will be save your game one time.
Now you can switch back to wemod then press F1 again to deactivate the trainer.
Go back to game and check your credit balance.

It doesn't matter, if I start wemod before the game or afterwards while the game is running, the cheat already fails when i want to set the credits.

I can activate the cheat via F1 and when i start raising the credits via F2 the amount shown in the trainer gets bigger. BUT the credits in the game never change (from what i can see in the background while i am using the wemod trainer) AND that is probably because the cheat activation (F1) is automatically reset/deactivated after a few seconds. And it can not be reactivated, unless i restart the trainer the acivation is completely blocked. And the deactivation seconds after activation happens every time again.

So if i set the credits in the trainer to 100.000 for example, this never takes effect in the game, no matter what menus i am in or navigate to.

No matter what I do, it crashes the game. None of the methods work on the Steam version.

It looks like adding cash-credits via the trainer does not allow you to buy a new car in the game.
Pease do trainer with option: Unlimited money , to easy buy new car in game and buy upgrade for new car.

I think that it doesn't let you buy cars because the credits added by the trainer are not saved to your profile. It saves when you enter in the cars store or in the garage but as soon as it tries to save it crashes the game.

I'm not sure you can even make a credits cheat in this game because of the way the game handles money. If you can't get it to work perhaps you can replace this cheat option with a "everything costs 1 credit" option?

If that doesn't work either then maybe implement an unlimited spin wheels and/or super spin wheels cheat? Will make the proccess a bit more tedious but this is a cheat after all and I doubt people will complain about it

It works on the windows version i an at 99,000,000 do as he says "first go to the shop then activate the first cheat credit cheat and alt tab then use set credit then alt tab again in the game and see the credit change dont purchse any car then after having disired money just deactivate the first cheat then go to the game your shop is open then just press back in game your game will save and then game will not crash" but in my case i bought a crap car before deactivating it would save freeze and crash and id have the money have to be in the forza store that wont even load for me yet

You does not necessary to buy a car. After you edit the credit by using F2, go back to your game then you will see your new credit balance. However, its not your actual credit balance, it just a display credit balance. Now pick a cheap car to upgrade something. Let's say just upgrade an air filter. Then spend few thousand credit. The game will be save once. You need to spend some credit amount then make the game save one time in order to get the new edited credit balance.

In the game, after adding credits with the trainer, F2 key, I bought a cheap car and bought tuning upgrades for it. After the purchase, the game saved. I bought the tuning upgrade for the car again, and after purchase, the game saved but the credits added by the trainer disappeared and the game used the credits from the game account. Unfortunately, the game does not save the credits added by the trainer to the game account.

Yes free. You have to just ignore the haters.

I can also confirm that they Steam Credits causes scene releases to crash. Speed boost, acceleration work well.
