In case of MAF having issues with starting this (Über-buggy) game, try downloading ANY other (free) game from the windows store before starting it.
It sounds silly, but it worked for me on both PC and Laptop, where before it would crash to desktop after the gears logo.
And i think there was a recent update, but not 100% sure.

I really hate to bump my own thread, but i'm unable to use use CE on this game, so getting an updated trainer here is just about my only option.
