The trick of using infinite resources are...

1. by activating it and then select any of YOUR OWN CITY.

2. and then wait for the resources to change into 9999 unit, you might need to select and deselect the Trade Tab or opening and closing the city interface for the figure to update.

3. after the figure change to 9999, simply deactivate the option and it will not affect AI player even if you select AI city.

4. BEWARE - do not select AI city while the option is on or else the city would benefit from the cheat.

5. I know that this mean the resources wouldn't be infinite but with 9999 unit of every resources, your city wouldn't need anything for a very long time, you city will get excess production though but I don't see any negative in this.

6. Should you ever during your game session does the amount dwindle very low, simply repeat the steps above.
