Thanks much. This is exactly what I needed. for anyone having ammo trouble, it's really easy to edit ammo with cheat engine. You can put like 200 shots in the pistol (or more but that's all I tried) as long as you don't hit reload it's almost like infinite ammo. Just keep in mind the address for any item value changes when you change rooms so you can't just freeze it. Also Splitting a stack of items (shift click) is an easy way to find the value in cheat engine so you can save as much as you want.

I found editing the stack of ammo to be easier. You still have to reload but its easier to manage.

I personally hate inf ammo with no reload. It takes the fun and cool stuff of reloading.

I fully agree. I just edited a stack myself. I was just letting people know you could edit the gun ammo count as well if they didn't want the hassle of reloading, and it frees up an inventory slot.
