you keep Ceri as shes the main character that fights but you also capture monster girls in the vain of pokemon, but if Ceri is knocked out its preety much game over

Yeah, using Cheat Engine for RenPy is pretty much impossible, because RenPy, if I remember correctly, changes addresses as soon as you do something ingame. Even if it's just changing the screen. No idea how to do it, sorry.
