I was wounding if it would be possible to add HTTPS to the site.
These days, it's becoming easier and easier to secure sites with HTTPS. I would recommend that you make this site use HTTPS to help improve the security of the users using your site.
If you do want to add HTTPS I would recommend https://letsencrypt.org/ they offer free SSL certificate to make the web a safer place. Let's Encrypt aims are for all websites to be HTTPS so they make it easy and automated to obtain SSL certificate. They have many big supports like Cisco, electronic frontier foundation, Google, Akamai and Mozilla.
