If you are using Windows 10, that's the reason, or Windows Defender. It's what I deal with every time now. You have to either make a new folder, and download the trainer into it, AFTER white listing it in your antivirus, then unpack the trainer there, and in some cases, you might have to also white list the trainer as well. Otherwise, it will just block/delete/or not even unpack the trainer. I just made a new folder, white listed it, downloaded into that folder, then white listed the trainer, and then unpacked it. Worked perfectly for me.

Can you be more detailed/specific? What exactly is going on and/or not working? Are you playing with the most recent version of both the game (1.3170.63.2) and MAF Trainer (v1.02)? I am playing with both of these versions and everything works as intended.

i experienced with this too
infinite resources not working after i clicked F9
there is sound that telling me "cheat activated" but resources still same before i used the trainer and resources still going down when i upgrade something or taking food
i used v1.0b trainer

Latest trainer is State of Decay 2 V1.03 Trainer +11 , You should be using the latest trainer if you have a fully updated game .

For Inf. Ammo function, weapons with over 30 shots per clip are not affected.
Maybe because of the nature of ammunition item in the backpack (30 shots per magazine), those weapons would exhaust the item.
If you keep reloading before exhaustion of 30 bullets, the cheat would be in effect (Yet troublesome ...)

So question...not sure if it's the trainer, the game, or what, but I can NOT get a Warlord playthough complete, as every time I get to a certain mission (the one where you have to go around to see which of the other communities are still loyal), I pull up to a base, and someone comes out, turns hostile, and 1-shots me. I had this happen again with my 5th game, and this time I had a second Warlord to bring back, so I took her there, to kill them, and get the equipment off my other's corpse, and I didn't even enter the property yet, and the same guy came out, and 1-shot this one as well.

Anyone have this happening to them? I so want to complete the Warlord, but I can't survive this mission, even with the best equipment, and inf. health.

EDIT: Okay, so I'm an Idiot I forgot to turn off the scripts I used while waiting for the updated trainer, and it effected the NPC's as well. So that's why I was getting 1-shot from the next property away from hostile humans

update 2.0=game version v1.3187.26.2 (or 318726 ingame), so I would assume trainer 1.03 should work with game update 2.0
