They work for me, they're just not instant, even on 'slowest', it only takes about 1 to 3 seconds to work, although if you're trying to use it on in a system where a battle is taking place, it doesn't work there until the battle in that system is over.

No Problems for me seems like something on your end, which Version do you use?

All the ones for specific resources work for me too, all of the options do actually.

Although be careful with the 'fast research' option, the 99999 research it adds eventually is less than the rest of the technology, so after a while you may want to use it as a toggle for a quick boost, otherwise keeping it on after that will freeze your research progress.
