When you place an item in things to do, they are not unlimited. For example, if you put anything you pick up in a machine, it consoles the item and also crashes and only manufactures 1 item and stops manufacturing.

Indeed , the infinite item function seems to bug the new advanced structures. Also When crafting and canceling the materials are just substracted and and and not added in the crafting stations.
