The trainer doesn't work for me, I have tried opting in for the 3.04 beta and updated to 1.3, but it still doesn't work.
When I load up the trainer and game, the trainer recognises that the game is running but it just doesn't do anything when I press F1, or any keys.
Anybody got a clue how to fix this? I would really like to be able to use this so I can get a feel for the game before diving into to playing without cheating or just to mess around in it.

I finally got the trainer to work, however, it seems you need Heart of Darkness for it to work and you also need to use the 3.04 beta, which, for people who didn't already know, you can get by right clicking Victoria 2 in your steam library, clicking properties and then going to the BETAS tab.

Its already been mentioned you need the Heart of Darkness DLC as long as the 3.04 beta in steam.
