So hello guys/girls, this is my first thread
so i just finished looking my potential games to buy in the future and i read about this code of conduct in watch dogs 2 page (http://steamcommunity.com/games/447040/announcements/detail/366309728594399058)
let me copy a few rule in that code of conduct here :
Cheating / *******:
  • Use of a modified version of the game client or a third party software which provides the player with an unfair advantage or causing a severe detriment to other players’ experience.
  • Exploitation of any new or known bug or glitch for personal gain.
  • Any attempt to edit, corrupt or change game code or data that affects online play is prohibited. Though modifying game data for single player play is tolerated, it’s at the user’s own risk and may trigger anti-cheat detection.
  • Use of third-party *******, cheating or botting clients is strictly prohibited.
  • Distribution or posting of cheats, hacks, Trojans, or other malicious programs.

What i want to ask is this, considering the type of multiplayer in WD2 is not like GTAV with separate SP and MP, is there a possibility that when/if the trainer for WD2 comes out and i use it in SP i got banned from MP??

so for example, i use trainer for infinite money and research point, when the other player invade or i play co-op with other player, of course i have an advantage because all my research tech tree already full/complete, and i got more weapon because i got more money, is this a ground for ban??
(i don't exactly know for sure but from WD MP we know that player can drop in drop out seamlessly to other player game, its not like GTA V where the character we use for MP is different from the one we use in SP)

Thx for your response and sorry for my bad english

I think it should be fine unless the game runs online only .

Exactly this. It's in a way like Dragon's Dogma for instance. You can modify anything related to your character and singleplayer experience, but if you modify your pawn (which is usable for a gimmicky multiplayer-esque component) it's completely against the terms that Capcom laid out. As well as other games like Call of Duty, Battlefield 1, Titanfall 2. Any game that has singleplayer and multiplayer modes. You can cheat all you want in singleplayer.

Just make sure you don't use the trainer online. Keep your game on offline mode. If you want to go online, restart your game with the trainer turned off and closed and make sure you aren't going into multiplayer modes with a completely cheat modified character. Though I doubt it would be possible to permanently cheat modify your character through Mr. Antifun's trainer that would hurt your multiplayer experience and trigger anticheat. Also Mr. Antifun doesn't do any cheats that would affect multiplayer, and if there is any possible affect to multiplayer that the trainer does, he would put a warning telling you to keep it to offline only.

That said, you should be fine as long as you don't use it in the game's online modes. I have heard you can play the game completely in offline mode as well.

Just like Forza 3. You cheat offline you get banned once you're back online. Yes, no trainer will be made unless the maker has total disregard to their acct and has gotten around the anticheat.

creator? No.
yes, retard I am. Again, a trainer WILL NOT be made. No one is going to get passed the anti-cheat and risk a banned account. You're welcome to pick up a book or read online how to make trainers yourself rather than argue with those who can and are trying to give you an answer. jackass.

It's on steam, code of conduct. You can edit your singleplayer but no multiplayer. And big problem is anticheat software to figure it out.

Yep, you just have to add "-eac_launcher" into the uplay client options or directly in your .exe shortcut (not uplay shorcut)

If you made it properly, you will have a warning message in the main screen of the game that will tell you mp is off because anticheat is off.

This tips can be used by those who want to use afterburner and rivatuner as well

Edit:

MrAntiFun explained it very well in the trainer's topic

I did not understand it well...
How could I do that? I tried to rename the shortcut and put before the exe, right? But in steam it appears that it is "not possible to start the game because there is no launcher (exe) for startup". Please teach me how to do this to disable anti cheat for testing. Thank you

Mr AntiFun has made some helpful screen captures (trainer's topic)
http://mrantifun.net/index.php?threads/watch-dogs-2-trainer.11565/#post-119357
Steam client: right click on WD2-->Properties-->Set laucnh options-->add "-eac_launcher" (without quotation marks)-->Ok
Uplay client: WD2-->Properties-->Game launch arguments-->add "-eac_launcher" (without quotation marks)-->save

Then, each time you'll start the game, you'll have an "error" message on the main screen. (but it's normal)
