Bethesda will release retail copies of Wolfenstein: The Old Blood in Europe one week after the game launches digitally.
The date was announced via Twitter this morning, along with pre-order information.
Announced just before PAX East kicked off earlier this month, the standalone prequel will be released on May 5 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One in North America, and digitally on PS4 May 6 in Europe.
The PC and PS4 physical editions will arrive in Europe on May 15, with a physical Xbox One edition noticeably absent from the announcement.
Responding to a query on the matter, Bethesda said “should anything change, we will let fans know,” but that currently, the retail release is “just PS4 and PC.”
Wolfenstein: The Old Blood is now available for pre-order on Steam, with pre-order opportunities for PS4 and Xbox One “coming soon.”
